If I could give this restaurant a negative number, I would.My wife and I have always talked about going since it had such high reviews and appeared on the Food Network.This was a disaster in every way. Walking in, we stood there unaware of what the custom was (do we order at the counter, seat ourselves, or what the heck is going on!?). There were several people behind the counter. One was busy on the phone taking an order so we patiently waited to be greeted. Finally someone approached us and told us they could only take cash since their phone lines were down…. um…. ok?. So my wife took a seat, while I ran to an ATM down the street.5 minutes later, I walk in to see my wife and I take a seat with her. I realized no one had spoken to her yet! I asked a bus boy if we were supposed to order up at the table or is there a waiter. He said there was a waiter and that he would get him for us. We sat there patiently waiting to order drinks, looking over the menu. After deciding what we were going to order, we sat there waiting… we started to notice all the old crusted BBQ sauce on the sides of every bottle at the table. Every fan had chunks of old dust built up. I don’t come to BBQ joints for their cleanliness but show some pride.After waiting 10+ more minutes with no one showing up, we got up and left. We jumped into my truck and when I looked up, there was the waiter in the window of the restaurant… turning the ‘Open’ sign off and closing the blinds. I looked at my clock and it was only 5:45 PM!
It was awesome!!! The ribs are to die for, brisket and pulled pork were juice and delicious , I will for sure be back. I am a rib man and these were as good as I have ever had
