Had a lunch special shrimp po’ boy and jambalaya for $10 including a Coke.Good flavors, friendly folks. The place is pretty new, so give ’em a little slack if it’s not perfect. Hope they add muffulettas eventually. It’s not Middendorf’s or Cafe Dumonde, but it’s pretty darn decent.

Not feelin’ it… Presentation and atmosphere is on point and the sampler they bring at the beginning of the meal was really good. I was very excited to order a large Jambalaya

The food was really good, about as authentic as you can get in Nashville. The only reason we don’t plan on returning is the high prices. They also wouldn’t let us sub fries for potato salad even when we offered to pay extra. I can’t say that policies like this are good business. I have a feeling that it also had to do with our waitress not knowing the menu or anything about Cajun food. All in all, the food was good, but I just cannot justify $14 for a dish I can make at home for half that and feed an entire family. Not worth it.

Good Food!. Was walking by today on my way to another restaurant, and saw this place. I was immediately drawn in by the name. I love cajun food! Staff is very friendly, and eager to please. Decor is pretty cool, AND the food was very good. When you are seated, they bring you a sampler tray with 6 different kinds of food they serve. Very Cool!! My wife had the Lobster Bisque, I had the Crawfish Etouffee’. Both dishes were excellent, and we didn’t go away hungry. Quite the opposite! Rob(the owner), sat down and talked with me for about 20 minutes. He shared his passion for cajun food(being he’s from New Orleans), as well as his passion for his employees. Great guy, great place to eat/hangout. We were there after the lunch hour, and there was a steady stream of people coming in. If you stop there, ask to talk to Rob. He loves to talk to his customers. Thanks Rob, see ya again soon buddy!!!!!
