The catfish was old and dry and the side dishes didn’t taste fresh or well seasoned. The portions were small for the price and they were out of many side dishes at 6pm. It was a total waste of money. Next time I will go to Black-eyed Pea and order catfish and know I will get hot, fresh and delicious food. Never again will I go into their cafe. They also don’t let you know until you are ready to pay that they don’t take credit or ATM cards.

This is MY place!. Always great food here, fresh, menu varies but never had anything that wasn’t excellent! The catfish is great, also love the meatloaf! They also make the rounds during meal times giving out freshly baked cookies for free! Great staff and service also!
