Mediocre at best.. Fajitas came out burned. The spinach enchilada was literally a frozen spinach thrown in a tortilla. The service was fine. I had one good item, the chile rellano. I will not be back as there are 2 other great places in Hendersonville.
Ricardo’s stands out among all the other Mexican restaurants in Hendersonville. The staff is friendly and you will be treated like family. I must say, I make at least 2 stops there a week. Their cheese dip is the best and NO ONE can beat their killer deals for lunch. Margaritas are tart and delicious. They are usually 1.99 through the week! Also, if you check in on their iPad they will send you coupons through text. Great place! Try it!! You won’t be disappointed.
Best Mexican Food in Hendersonville. The owner Ricardo and his family are there to make sure customers are receiving the top notch service that they have become accostomed to. They have a great variety of typical American style Mexican food but they also have some wonderful non-traditional dishes like Mileneza (my favorite) which is deep fried steak served with tortillas, the best Carnitas I’ve ever tasted and their Fajaitas are rich and flavorful. For my money, the food is wonderful, the speed of service is incredibly fast and they turn tables quickly considering the paucity of tables in this former golf driving range snack bar. I have eaten at every Mexican restaurant in Hendersonville and Ricardo’s has consistent quality and service. I love their crispy Carnitas (crisped up on a flat top like they’re supposed to be), fajitas are rich and flavorful and the authentic Milenza (deep fried round steak) is fabulous. I’ve never had a bad meal at Ricardo’s and I’ve been eating their at least once per month for years. Sometimes it’s hard to get a table but it’s worth the wait. I absoluttely love Ricardo’s and it’s cool that his entire family is intimately involved there. Great bunch of people and great food.
This is by far our favorite restaurant. We go about once a week. Great friendly staff and excellent food!
Bad, bad, bad. This used to be a decent place but has really gone downhill. I was wondering why on a Friday evening there was no wait & the place was half empty. The guacemole, salsa & pico were average at best. The chicken fajitas I ordered were absolutely awful, nothing better than rubbery, flavorless, overcooked chicken mixed in with some burnt veges. My 6 year old could have done a better job, steer clear of this place wish I had. I will not be back!!!
Ugh, I love this restaurant more than anything. They have the nicest staff ever. Yes, sometimes they’re slow but honestly what restaurant isn’t slow sometimes. All of their food is delicious, no matter what you get. For the people who don’t like it, you probably came on the wrong day. ;b
Won’t Go Back. Very disappointed in Richardo’s. We finally ended up grabbing our own menus and seating ourselves. The salsa appeared to have come out of a jar, and the food basically tasted very commercialized. It’s more fast food than restaurant quality.
