SOMEBODY CALL THE BOARD OF HEALTH. I went to Chilis here in July figurin it was safe to go and not wanting to try anything new. What is it about Chilis? Not just in TN but whenever I go to them now they are FILTHY with food and napkins underfoot, half clean tables and servers who add to the detritus by swiping what is on the table on the floor.At this particular chilis, not only was my food cold and wrong, with my texas toast missing and the gravy on my potatoes was COLD and congealed—I got to see a server, swipe trash to the floor (where it sat and was trampled to by waitstaff) but also seat new people among the nastiness, take a swipe at something on the floor then prepare to serve me my food and put her washrag on the tray with my food–I did not eat a bite–I told them they were nasty.I guess the Board of Health is short staffed now so places can be as nasty as they want to be. Never again. Then again, years ago in Overland park, I watched as a couple was seated at a table that still had dirty dishes and napkins on it and the server came later to get those things. I remember taking pics with my camera of the roll and napkins surrounding their feet.That place is nasty. if they will act and do things like that where you CAN see them–one can only have nightmares about what they do in the actual kitchen.

Very good place to eat. Always stays busy because the food is so good!
What my dog ate last night probably tasted better than what I just had.
My food was crap! Slow service with a stupid waiter. Last time at chilis!
