Diddys hands down the best !. I usually don’t carry on about a place, unless its very good! I’ve eaten barbecue from one end of the country to the other! The pulled pork is always juicy buns fresh ,service has always been top notch. The smoked chicken is to die for! Ive been eating diddys food for at least 5 years. I live out north and fight the stupid traffic out south to get some of the tastiest BBQ you can find within a 350 mile radius. Yes I think its that good.
I agree Brad! Everything that she said is the opposite of what everyone I’ve talked to has said. All i can say is people just need to go and eat the BBQ and see for themselves that it’s a great place with great food and great God fearing Americans running and working there!11 Aug, 2013Hands down the best bbq yiu will put in your mouth! go, eat, &thank me later!
I don’t know what this other lady on here is talking about. She must have went to the wrong place!!! Ha ha ha. This is by far the smokiest, most tender, and flavorful BBQ I’ve ever graced my lips with! The buns were fresh, the sweet tea was great, and the service was impeccable! This is seriously the best BBQ in Jackson, Tn. The chicken and ribs are AWESOME. The baked beans, best in town! The BBQ bologna, you guessed it, best in town again. So, what have we learned here? That the lady that have this insanely WRONG review either went to the wrong place, works for a competitor, or just flat doesn’t know good when it’s in her mouth. Go eat it and see for yourself. You can thank me later! And you will!
Disappointed Diners. We have eaten at Diddy’s a few times when they were in the temporary location next to Popeye’s on 45 in Jackson. They opened yesterday in their new permanent location south of WalMart also on highway 45. We were anxious to try the new location. We ordered 2 bbq’s and first off the girl taking the order was either way too nervous or not trained well. She asked me 3 times what I wanted before she actually got the order entered into the computer. Did not ask what type of slaw and when I noticed on the receipt she had written catsup slaw, I returned to the counter and requested mayo slaw. Seems they have 3 types. You would think they would ask because the type of slaw greatly alters the taste of the BBQ.2 BBQ’s were right at $10. Disappointed in the size was not the only issue. It was dry, chewy and luke warm at best. Absolutely NO flavor of smoke at all. Obviously held in a steam table too long and mine was almost too chewy to eat. I got alot of the dry outside skin and could barely eat that. You could tell by looking it did not have any smoke on the skin. And if I were to guess about the buns, I would say they were purchased at the day old bread store because it fell totally apart and on the 2nd day opening, you would think the bun would be fresh.I usually give a place at least 2 tries before writing a review, but this one just disappointed me so badly, I won’t even try it a second time. Inside was nice & clean, but the food was terrible.
