I have eaten here many times.. The food is Always fresh the order is brought to your table quicky, now it’s not the cheapest place in Jackson but if you want a fresh salad and sandwich its hard to beat.
We used to eat at Jason’s Deli at least once a week. Seems that over the past year or so the prices keep going up while the quality keeps going down. For two to get a half sandwich, cup of soup and a drink, it’s over $20 now. That’s too steep when big chains (Logan’s, Chili’s) offer a sit down meal with a server that includes a meal and appetizer for $20.The last 3 times we went something was out of order too. Twice the fountain drink machine was out of order and we were forced to drink tea, and on several occasions the soft serve ice cream is either empty or out of service. When you have kids along, this is something they count on.And I noticed someone else who mentioned the beeping noise that can be heard over the music. I have asked the mgmt on two occasions what that noise is and they pretend they don’t hear it and act like you’re imagining things. That noise drives me nuts.They always give you a number but many times you have to pay attention because they’ll leave your order up on the counter for you to pick up. And don’t ask for something different, like 86 the mayo or ALL STRAWBERRIES for fruit because maybe one in 10 they will get it right. The soup is ALWAYS luke warm.We’ve stopped eating there altogether and it used to be one of our favorite places.

After very few words from the girl I ordered from I took my number and went and got my foutain drink. I sat down and waited. And waited. I finally walked up to the counter and picked up my tray. I didn’t know I was supposed to do that. When I sat down with my tray I realized I got the sandwich I ordered but instead of soup they gave me steamed vegetables. I paid over $10 for half a sandwich some veggies and a soda. No, I am not happy about this.
