Ok food. We ate here this week. It was just ok, wanted to charge extra for additional (over 2) lemon slices for water !!! Ribs tough, baked loaded potatoe good, texas toast bread wilted , chicked breast BBQ sauce ok meat tough, sm bun on plate. Cute atmosphereWould not go again
True Southern Food. This is by far the best place to eat in Jackson TN. I went with my husband in June 2013 for our one year anniversary just for a quick getaway and came up on this restaurant the first night and we made sure we came back the next night too. The staff is so nice and it was ment for us to be there two times because we got to sit in the exact secluded seat both times. If you are passing through or even just visiting, stop and eat a meal with them. They are great!!
Great food. Good service, fairly priced food. I have had the steak 2 times. I have eaten many hamburgers for lunch there. Lots of tasty sides.
Poor Service. My party and I ate at Old Hickory Steakhouse today. I am visiting from out of town and received very poor service. There were 6 in our party and we were charged with a mandatory 15% gratuity. Normally if the service was even fair I wouldn’t have a problem with that, waiters & waitresses depend on tips to make a living. Not only did it take over 45 minutes for our party to receive our food, my food was hot on top but as I worked my way down the food was cold. Several in my party wanted to register complaints so we spoke with the manager who defended her establishment with a vegence. No offers to make things right were made; just a simple I’m sorry you didn’t like it. Believe me this party will show their dissatisfaction with their feet (and this posting). I for one will NEVER go to an Old Hickory Steakhouse again!
I wouldn’t waste my time again. However if you are in the mood for cheap steak, have at it.
I love this place!! I love their greek food especially! Service is great and prices very reasonable.
