Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The spicy tuna hand roll was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, but didn’t hover. I will definitely go back again.
The BEST. No other sushi in the area compares! and i have been to all of them in jackson. i even find the larger close cities like nashville and memphis don’t measure up (except for sakura in mem). absolutely phenomenal combinations of fresh ingredients and a touch of the delicious sauces makes each roll. most rolls are very generous in size.joe manages to remember almost everyone’s name and brings the personal touch making u feel welcome. they do get slammed (especially on weekend nites) and also do one heck of a business on take out orders. i was a patron of the old, dive location and was thrilled when they moved and expanded seating.if the service is a bit slow, u have to remember that each roll is hand made when it is ordered, nothing is pre-made, ingredients are just prepped. the sushi chefs are always working and if u want to watch how hard they work, just sit at the bar. excellent food, gracious host, and reasonable prices for the serving sizes. always a favorite. recommend the ruth alto, mardi gra, incredible hulk, mermaid salad…i better stop before i list the menu!
Pure Addiction. I MUST have Sakura at least once a week…..the Pickwick is amazing, as are all of the rolls. I am always recognized and greeted by name upon entering the door, which is highly unusual in any Jackson restaurant! The food is consistantly delicious. I have brought many out of town guests here who rave over it being the best Sushi restaurant ever!

Overrated. The sushi is just ok. I haven’t been terribly impressed with any of their rolls. Most of them have too many ingredients in them! I’ve also never had great service here. It’s just really OK in my opinion. I don’t get why everyone goes so crazy over it.
Toyota officials eat there when they come to Jackson! Enough said!! Best sushi ever!!
