Monday at Amigos.. LOVE. My boyfriend and I enjoy the hell out of some Mexican food. As a HUGE fan of El Charolais, we wanted to try something a little new. Went here on a Monday, (a VERY VERY busy Monday at that!) and as long as I can get a parking spot, we’ll be back! (I believe it was 75 cent taco night and Margarita Monday.. Hooray for College towns.. ) Very impressed with the service!! We were seated within 10 minutes and we even let a couple who came in around the same time as us be sat before us. Our server was very well kept, and very polite!! Being a server myself it takes a lot to impress me, but I had nothing bad to say! He was wonderful! We ordered some nachos, (believe they were steak AND chicken, green peppers, onions, cheese, fresh chips, fresh grilled jalapenos, lettuce, sour cream) and a side of the Mexican fried rice.. We ate until we were sick and we still took home a to-go box FULL! Only paid $22.00… Yeah. And we eat quiet a bit! Very impressed with this place! Will be back! (:
Damn near awful. Ordered pollo loco and chicken was soggy and cheese watered down. so much that i sat it aside, along with an empty bowl of chips and watched it there for 15 minutes. the server ignored the fact that a full plate was being thrown away. it sucks i hate it there. they are TERRIBLE at the food game
Okay. I have to begin by saying their salsa is terrible. It is very close to crushed tomatos just poured out of a can. Everything else is okay. There is better to be had in the area.
No ‘Ole. Their food specials are good, but drink specials not so much because they’re in smaller glasses. Service was definitely lackluster and uncaring.
Good Food!!. As a Native Texan I tend to eat the grilled and specialty items more than most…the Mexican Tacos are Excellent as are the Carnitas….they serve moist, delicious carnitas!! so when you get tired of the tacos and enchiladas try some new dishes!!
I love this place. They have 75 cent tacos every Monday. Service is good. Bring food quickly. Nice place to go for lunch
