Best food around. Can’t beat the service and the quality. Much respect to Sammy’s kids stepping up after their father’s passing. The waiters still have my entire order memorized and I expect it soon after I walk into the restaurant. Cannot show enough love for this restaurant.

Mom & Pops are still the best.. I love food. And these people do not disappoint. This little family owned restaurant is one of the best Italian places I’ve ever eaten at. They were recommended to me by Will from The Charles to be a caterer for my wedding in January, and so I’ve been sampling the menu for a couple months now. I’ve tried the lasagna, genovese (eggplant & chicken with peso), chicken parm, & another eggplant dish, as well as a spicy pasta dish that I was so enamored with, I can’t even remember the name. Everything was great. I was even skeptical with the genovese (my fav) at first because when I saw it, there looked to be entirely too much pesto on the plate. I started in, and before I knew it, I’d eaten every bite of a rather large portion. It didn’t detract from anything. The wines were great (I had a really nice pino noir today). Their bread – ohmygracious. I could feast on the bread all day. Their homemade Italian-Balsamic vinaigrette is great on salad and even better on the bread. The salad is a decent mix of greens. And the atmosphere is really great for a little local treasure. Most importantly in my opinion, (as a former service industry member), the service always impresses me. The owners came out to meet me twice during the three visits I’ve experienced. Amel is so laid back and personable. The bar tender was jovial. My waiter & waitresses were kind & attentive. Please go eat here. You won’t regret it. And to those crazies (all two of you) who have written poor things about this restaurant because you went there one time and instantly wrote it off – get some taste!
