Did someone pee in here?. I have been here before and always liked it but this experience was horrible. The food was luke warm wether it was suppose to be hot or cold and I personaly didn’t see a difference in what they put out except crab legs, yet it was almost twice as much as the lunch buffet. The worse thing had to be the smell of urine. I’m not sorry to say I will not be going back.
Been going here since it opened. Im sitting here laughing at the negativity of reviews. First of all, y’all act like this place is supposed to be a 10 star restaurant. It hasn’t changed since it opened. Of course the seats and floors are going to get dirty over the years. Are y’all’s carpets spotless after many years of wear and tear? The food is always good and the price you can’t beat for all that you can eat. I’ve never in all the years I’ve been, had a bad waitress or waiter. The only negative thing I can say about here (which has changed back) is the snow crab weekends when they were charging 10.00$ even if you didn’t even eat crab legs. That became a bad business break on their part and they lost business. Now that they’ve put it back to how it used to be (only if you eat crab) business picked back up. They keep up on the food. Something runs out, they’re right there filling it back up. If you’re going to sit and criticize…at least make it legit and stop bashing them over a torn seat. Find something better to do like criticizing your own pathetic lives, bc it’s apparent you have nothing better to do!!
Service is HORRIBLE lately !!!. We have been going to this restaurant ALMOST every weekend for years…The past 6 months or longer the male owner wasn’t there overlooking the restaurant. The NEW girl assured us they haven’t changed owners but everything changed…the waiters/waitresses wasn’t the same ones, the food wasn’t as spicy, the dishes were prepared differently & there was ALOT more Mexicans working there than Chinese people (I have NOTHING against Mexicans but just wasn’t many there before), the kitchen rolled carts with up to 10 different FRESHLY prepared foods on it to REFILL the ones which were empty or about empty..THEY kept it full at ALL times !! . We like to go on weekends because of the seafood buffet. When the male owned it & he was ALWAYS there overseeing his workers. NOW it’s HORRIBLE !!! We went a month ago..1 Mexican lady was refilling the buffet…my husband showed her that a shrimp dish he was wanting was empty..she shook her head like she understood. I looked at my watch & 32 mins later they brought this dish out. I’ve cooked shrimp and NOBODY cooks shrimp this long. She didn’t even go back into the kitchen that whole 32 mins so we KNOW she didn’t go check on it. Tonight we thought we’d try it again. There were a lot more cars there so we thought MAYBE the service had gotten better. We went in, was seated, drink order taken. We go to the buffet (not the sushi coz it was FULL) There was 9 people WAITING for buffet to be refilled. I counted 16 empty dishes. The big container of fried fish they have on weekends had 6 pieces of dried up fish in it that was about the size of a goldfish a child has in a bowl !!! I put 1 bite of General Tsao on my plate coz it looked like it had sat for HOURS & I went to get an egg roll. NO EGG ROLLS, no spring rolls. 2 men standing there said they had been waiting for about 15 mins. They had 1 guy bringing ONE item out at a time to refill ALL these BIG LINES of buffet items with ALL those people standing waiting. We didn’t even open our straws for our drinks, husband didn’t even sit down. He said LET’S GO..this place is going to CLOSE up !!! It’s ALWAYS been clean, food delicious, reasonable prices, people are very friendly UNTIL something happened a few months ago at this business…. but you don’t go in a restaurant and have to stand 32 mins & be ignored for items to be refilled on AN ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET !!! We drive from another town to give them our business, least they can do is keep the buffet filled or at least TRY to !!!
Very good food for the price. My boyfriend and I ate at the empire buffet today we were very satisfied it was 13 dollars for both of us to eat for lunch the pepper chicken is awesome and the waitress was very friendly would definitely eat there again.:)
Quantity over quality. The best part about this place is the overwhelming variety of food offered and that unlike most Chinese restaurants the sushi is offered with the buffet at no additional cost. I went on a Friday around 5pm so there is no reason why the food should of been so dry and old tasting. The service was good. The food was not worth the price of the dinner time buffet. Better off going to a small restaurant in the mall that keeps the food fresh more often with less variety.
It was terrible. The sushi was old. Nothing about it was good
I went for my last time here yesterday. The food is not good, it is dirty in there and I have never been anywhere that had such rude waitress’s. I am done
