TERRIBLE I WOULD NOT RECOMEND. Went here today (even though I knew better) This buffet used to be very good, however the last few times we went the food has clearly tasted old and gross, the soup was literally a bowl of oil!! Today was by far the worst I have had from here!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE!! As bad as the food was the customer service is by far even worse!! I ate about 4 or 5 bites of different things and still had to pay the total bill, I did not expect to get it completely free but maybe take half off of my meal!! Even though I told them I was very unsatisfied and literally went to McDonalds right after leaving here because I was so hungry still!! Can’t wait until they go out of business so maybe something decent can take its place!! If nothing else learn how to treat your customers with decency and a little respect instead of telling me it isn’t fresh right now!! If it isn’t fresh would you not think to put out better fresher food??? I would not recommend this place if you want to actually eat good food!!
Food Terrible. We have eaten at Hibachi several times since opening in Johnson City, we went to dinner there last night on 10/31/14 @ 7:30 pm; We have 2 five year olds, there were 2 chicken legs on the bar and both were dried out, mac & cheese, we had to scrap the baking dish, to get enough for 2 servings, we asked if they could bring out more. They did, they tasted like macaroni & cheese water. There were 3 adults that had the bar, and all agreed the food was terrible, dried out, the egg drop soup, had a film over the top. The bill for us to eat was around $49.00; we did complain to the management when we were paying, they laughed at us. Said it had been a slow night, and I understand that some nights are slow. They sure didn’t discount our meal, only said, we hope next time it will be better~well buddy, with the smile on your face~like I told you, there will never be a next time, and as far as the restrooms, when they opened they were nice and clean, they are nasty now, and the nice hand dryer on the wall, no longer works. Now Smirk! Save your $50 bucks go to Shoneys!
Go somewhere else!!. The food is average. The staff was rude, especially the old lady at the counter. I will not be back.

Awsome Food. I’m from Illinois….my Son and his family took me there for dinner. I was so impressed! I’ve never eaten so much ‘good’ food in one spot EVER. Everything was good…they had ham, roast beef and of course all the Asian food you could think of. I will definitely be going there again in July.
Great food. This is a very good place to eat especially if you are very hungry. Most everything I tried, which was most of it, was very good. The selection is amazing. Very clean and friendly place. I like the quality ice cream also. Just have to remember to save some room for it. One of the best asian buffets I have eaten in this area. Can easily recommend it.
Better than Empire Buffet. Out of the two Chinese Buffets in North JC, this one is by far the best. There’s a better selection of food, the food is actually warm, and the service is a lot friendlier. The coconut shrimp is absolutely amazing.
