I had heard lots of good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. The service was on the slow side, despite being one of the only parties in the restaurant. My daughter’s portion of pollo quesadilla was ample and tasty. Small amount of sausa with each plate, which is a small negative. The chips and queso portions were also ample. I had the fish & chicken tacos. They were well seasoned and hot from the kitchen, but as one other commenter noted: they were rolled into the size of a large cigar. Three small bites each, and they were gone. Left definitively hungry after that, and $7 poorer for what should have been a sample size instead of a entree. Didn’t try the large tequila selection or beer selection. Will probably not return.

Food. The nasty nacho is awesome. Piled high with any meat you choose and then the cheese and extras make a great nacho. When ordering make sure you are hungry if not you’ll be taking half of the food back with you.

The foot tastes good, but ours was cold because of the bad service. We also only got part of our food and the house margarita tasted like a class full of salt on ice. Would be good if not for the server.

The food is fantastic. Their tequila selection is very extensive and they have a great craft beer selection which is something I am always looking for. The bartenders are very kind and interactive. Definitely my favorite restaurant and bar in JC!

Great food, not enough staff. We went Thursday night at 7:30 for dinner. We were never greeted until after 10 minutes of sitting at our table. We ordered appetizers which took about 45 minutes to get guacomole & queso. On top of that, to get a 1 beer refill it took 20 minutes. When our food finally came, it was hot, fresh and was delicious. It was obvious there was not enough help working & we understood that. Our waiter always apologized for taking so long when he came back to our table. If the food hadn’t been so good, we definitely wouldn’t go back. They do need to hire more people to serve & cook because other diners won’t be nearly as understanding.

My husband, son, and I were driving through town and needed something quick. This place was awesome! We each had the lunch special with carne asada. Delicious! It was the perfect amount of food. The fixings really added a lot of flavor to the perfectly cooked meat. Their house green salsa was also excellent. The service was great and the music too! I highly recommend!
