Guest. First of all, I like this place, but I guess every restaurant has its day. On Tuesday, April 21, I stopped in after a day of mowing for a pizza and a pitcher of beer. Neither the beer nor the pizza was up to par. The service was okay, but it could have been better. Now, I have frequented this place since it was called Buc’s Pizza, I believe, and I don’t really want to badmouth it too much because I still like it, and all likelihood, will give it another shot. However, I dropped $28 plus a $5 tip for a mediocre dining experience, at best. Specifically, my complaints are as follows: 1) The pizza tasted like some kind of frozen deal, or something and was not really cooked long enough to suit my needs. 2) The beer I ordered was Catawba Firewater IPA, but I don’t know if it was flat or if it was really an IPA. (Because my dog accompanied me, I dined and drank outside, which brings me to the service.) 3) She was pleasant enough, (and I did tip, because I don’t stiff wait staff), but I could tell she didn’t really want to be outside due to the cool temperature. Granted, it was a little on the chilly side that day. In that it was chilly, the pizza became cold before I could finish it. How could this have been addressed? By serving it in a box instead of on an aluminum pizza pan. Pretty simple! 4) The house salad was primarily iceberg lettuce with not much else. Okay, so there you have it! As I stated, it might have been an off day, but given the number of times I had been there before and the previous quality of food, service, and drink, I was disappointed. I complained to my dog, Max, the whole way home!

Delicious. I’ve gone to school at ETSU for two years and had never been to Knights. Decided to try it with my boyfriend and it was delicious! At first I thought it was a little pricy until I saw how big the large pizza was. We ended up going back the next night for more!
