Not a bad place by any means, just not nearly as good as it used to be in my honest opinion. Lately, it seems like older places have been struggling with the modern competition.
Before I go into the big picture assessments, I must give a very specific accolade: they absolutely nailed my lamb, I mean totally nailed it. Yeah the menu is generally overpriced a bit, but they do execute with distinguishable touches on many of the dish components. The service I had was very pleasant and genuine and added to the experience. They cut the french fries in house and they are amazing-balls!
Terrible. I took mom here for Mother’s Day brunch last year. I will never return. They made us wait outside as they rushed to open late. The service started off friendly then we were ignored. The ham roast was so tough it was inedible. The only eggs they had were several awful varieties of deviled eggs. They had one person making tough, bland Belgian waffles that were not worth the unreasonable wait. We left hungry, thirsty, and broke. I have also had this chef’s catering and was equally disappointed in the cuisine. Don’t waste your money.
