What a wonderful find. Delicious breakfast food and extremely reasonable prices. When we have gone in Sunday mornings, there’s usually a wait but it’s worth it. Especially recommend the cinnamon biscuits and the butterscotch pancakes.
Breakfast was amazing here! Everything was either fresh or homemade. I enjoyed fresh black berries and blue berries with homemade pancakes while my husband enjoyed homemade biscuits and gravy. Yumm!! Plus their apple biscuit or whatever it’s called was to die for. Service was excellent as well!
Breakfast is solid and very good with good service. But overlooked is their lunch and dinner which ranges in quality from above average to really good. Fried okra is out of this world good and other sides are good. Fried catfish is very very good. The roast beef was a little overdone for my taste but it was tender juicy and very flavorful. I’ve not tried other things but I could hear compliments. Dinner is only Thursday and Friday now but if more folks don’t go they will only be breakfast and lunch which would be a real shame. Get down for dinner everyone! Support a local Jonesborough eatery–we’ve lost some good ones for slow business and we need this at night as a nice option.
Great food! Great service. Clean! Very nice little spot
This is a quaint little place to have a good breakfast. I’ve never tried their regular pancakes – too many other delicious options. The pumpkin ones are awesome in the fall. If your kids love pancakes, don’t get the little silver dollar ones on the menu – wasn’t nearly enough for my twins when they were even just 2 years old.
Cozy place, nice staff, porch would be great to spend a long time enjoying a brunch with friends (weirdly, even with the intersection and gas station across the street) IF the food wasn’t bland. Seriously, I have had tastier fried eggs almost anywhere else, the regular pancakes were nearly tasteless, and the only thing that was decently worth it was the pecan pancakes (but they weren’t too exciting either). Maybe there are other items on the menu worth sampling, but I was totally underwhelmed.
