This food was the best! My husband and I split several tapas dishes which I highly recommend. We had the crab cakes with fried green tomatoes, pork medallions, tostones with avocado salsa, and fried sweet plantains. EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We will definitely be back.
The food here was really yummy. We especially enjoyed the green plantains appetizer. I had the scallop/shrimp entree. Two scallops and maybe eight shrimp, but they were cooked perfectly. I felt the sauce actually overpowered the flavor of the scallops and ended up scraping it off as much as I could. Nuts and berries salad was pretty delicious. Overall, extremely enjoyable cuisine. Here are my negatives – do not come here if you have any plans to do any other activities that evening. I haven’t been to a restaurant with such slow service before. [We were there 45 minutes before closing on a Saturday night – I have no idea what it’s like at other times.] Especially be cautious if you’re ordering appetizers and entrees in a group – the order of service was kind of messed up and resulted in our friends sitting and watching us eat appetizers while they waited for their appetizers until our main entrees came.In summation, definitely worth going, as long as you have a reservation and time to linger.
The Lunch menu is great but you have got to go for dinner. Reservations are needed as it’s a small restaurant and very popular for dinner. In my opinion The Dining Room has the best food in the Tri-Cities.There is nothing like the creativedishes that Hugo and Christine serve. The specials are amazing and the service is great.Sit back andenjoy the best meal you’ll have in this area.
