Christmas Dinner was excellent. My wife and I had Christmas dinner at Asia Caf West, excellent food as always. Sushi is very good and the people working were great, enjoyed visiting with them. Hospitality is fantastic and the price is very reasonable, lots of excellent food for the price.
Yaaaay! Karaoke!!!!!. I have found my new karaoke place! I had so much fun! I even got to sing 3 songs! The DJ was so nice and a very smart about the technical part of the job. He had the volume at the right level so that they could hear me without blaring. The food was good too. We got the combination appetizer platter. The chicken and kabobs were fried which were too dry so they replaced it with grilled and it was so juicy. Loved it! Very nice staff.The waiter was very kind. I definitely will be back
What a great surprise this restaurant was for our family in the location of the old Mandarin House West. The flavors are distinct and fresh, the presentation lively and the decor has been updated. They offer a great variety but still bring out the distinctive flavors of the cultures represented. We enjoyed sushi, a Chinese noodle bowl, Thai, Malaysian, and a dish from Singapore. We’re ready to come back and try dishes from other countries. Delicious!
We have found you!!! – Happy Again. My wife Pat and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Asia Cafe West. The food was Vietnamese. It was very, very, very good! We were served by Kevin and he did a great job and was very attentative. Prices for lunch were very good. We ate full lunches with a soft drink and the bill came to $20 and change.We use to go to the Vietnamese Bistro near Turkey Creek Shopping Area, which closed about 3 months ago. We missed eating their tastey food. Now we can once again enjoy one of our favorite types of food. Thanks Asia Cafe West!!!!
I have eaten several times at Asia cafe West, and have enjoyed each occasion. The food is superlative, the sushi is simply the best, which is prepared by Andre,the best sushi chef I’ve seen yet and the atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable. The best Asian cuisine I’ve had in Knoxville (and I’ve been to all of them).
Best Vietnamese!. Asia Cafe West opened in April, 2013. We have gone to this restaurant many times since it opened. It is our favorite restaurant in Knoxville now. My favorite is BUN TOM NUONG (cold salad with rice noodles, chopped lettuce, shredded carrots, sprouts, herbs, skewers of grilled shrimp, and nuoc cham sauce to pour over the salad). I have had the PHO TOM (soup with noodles and shrimp, fresh herbs and bean sprouts) – very good. This restaurant has a wide variety of other Asian foods. My husband likes the THAI MEE SIAM (rice noodles with shredded vegetables and delicious spices). I had the SHRIMP LAKSA MEE HOON (Malaysian curry and coconut milk, sprouts, nappa served hot in a in clay pot) and it is very good. They serve some of the best Vietnamese food I’ve eaten anywhere and I’ve traveled a lot. I almost always go with the BUN as it is so refreshing and delicious! Service is quick, wait staff friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place!
Enjoyed…. The Lunch Special of Sesame Chicken with Broccoli. Fried rice was very good also. Accompanying the dish was hot/sour soup, small egg roll and a sugared donut nugget. After placing my order, I waited…waited…expecting my soup and egg roll to be delivered to the table. My server, Nathan, brought my entire meal to the table at one time, which I was not used to. I did enjoy everything for a very reasonable price for lunch. I might have missed this…but I couldn’t find a single pork dish on the menu. My favorite is Twice Cooked Pork and couldn’t find it on the extensive menu. whstonemandining.blogspot.com
