Horrible place to work and eat. This place was shut down a few years ago because they couldn’t get their act together and they haven’t improved any if you ask me. Management is the worst I’ve ever worked for. Of one of their favorites has some issue with you then management will just pull you off the schedule because they are too spineless to talk to you about it. Also no complaints are ever addressed unless you are the managers roommate or his roommate’s son. This place is pure trash with only a handful of good people. Want to talk about the atmosphere? Lets just say there are plenty of bugs and rats to chase you around while you eat. The booths are small and tightly packed together, and if you come when they’re expecting a bus…good luck getting a table. The moron who owns the place has no clue how to handle anything so you could be standing around unnecessarily waiting for a table when there are plenty available but they are reserved for 2 hours for a bus.The food is terrible even for a buffet. As a former server here, I can’t count the number of complaints I had as a from people saying the food hurt their stomach or was just flat out nasty. This place is a joke all the way around and if you choose to ignore this review then I guarantee you will wish you had listened when you go and see that I’m telling the truth. Am I mad that I was accused of stealing from this place without ever being asked about it first? You bet! Did I actually steal anything? Nope.Am I just some disgruntled ex-employee? Not really but when you take into consideration that I was wrongfully accused of stealing when I didn’t, if you take into account that none of my complaints were ever addressed, if you take into account that current employees from the restaurant have come to my home and tried to bust out my Windows for telling the absolute truth about this place, then you would probably be a little mad too.

This establishment used to be on Broadway in Fountain City where Dean’s Restaurant is now. It took some months to get their act together, but presently they offer a nice variety of good choices for a very reasonable price. Lunch is a bargain, albeit with less choices than supper – mainly no beef. Good salad bar and attentive service. Their fried chicken is excellent!
