I had heard good things but not really impressed. The burger was actually tasty and tasted like a burger that you would get at a cookout. More of a take out place than a dine in and is a step above your typical fast food joint but not as good as a Bad Daddy’s
Service and overall apperance is Poor and could be a bit more clean. overall it looks dirty.. The food is absolutely wonderful, but the service is under par. The servers at the drive through window are very unfriendly, and not kind. They are slow to respond, so to serve and tend to leave you feeling like you should never return. I work in the neighborhood and frequent Back Yard burger regularly. Each time I leave telling myself, I will never come here again. Yesterday was a perfect example; it was around 2pm and it was not busy, the service at the window was slow, unfriendly and it took more than 15 min to get chicken strips. NOT even a sorry for the wait. I would also like to note that when you drive up to the window from the outside looking in it looks dirty, unkempt, and disorganized. With a little effort, the drive through window could be cleaned more often and the inside could be a little more appealing.
When it comes to drive thru burger joints, I think backyard is at the top. Good friendly service and tasty burger and toppings that taste more like a homemade grilled burger. Seasoned fries are delicious.
Grease. I got an original burger with waffle fries. I could have filled a cup with the grease that came off of it. it was so bad that I didn’t finish mine. I don’t recommend it. That’s to bad!
Really great burgers.. I love Back Yard Burgers. The burger patty is a higher quality beef than other fast food places. I know they are pricier than other places, but the quality and taste of the beef is considerably better.I know some people can’t taste the difference (like my Dad), but I can. If you know the difference between prime and choice, then this place is for you. If you can’t, you may not be able to taste the difference.An added plus are the waffle fries and fresh lemonade. I highly recommend BYB.
Great service. Back Yard Burgers catered the Homecoming celebration at our church yesterday. They arrived at the appointed time with the food prepared and ready to serve. The food was delicious, and we can’t say enough about the great service their employees gave us. We will definitely use their services again!
