Thought I would update my review on this joint…. I don’t go all that often but I have a pal that is a regular. The food is apparently better than your typical bar food. I noticed they had benton’s bacon on the menu (very gourmet for here) and understand the steak sandwich is good also. My friends sometime get to go orders when leaving which is positive. The service is great…. I like all the staff that I have interacted with….very attentive and friendly. It is smoker friendly (which I hate) but my friends all smoke or they wouldn’t go there I guess…and it’s 21 & up which I do like…kids & bars don’t mix. MY big gripe with the place is the drink prices are high & the happy hour is poor to almost non existent. Best deal I can tell there is to go with a bucket of beer or bottle of wine…would be nice if you could say get a $2 buck natty bottle all day there…my pal always gets hit with big bar tabs… I think all bars should feature a daily revolving drink deal…this joint doesn’t. I think the upstairs has tons of potential if they jerk out the pool tables…almost nobody ever up there. The golden tees seem to bring in a lot of guys & business but they are rather irritating and right in the center of the bar…guys with their butts in your face and in your way on the way to the john. They are working on an outdoor patio. This place is in a good area and has tons of potential….however still underachieving in my view….not the best sports bar in town & not the worst…ho hum…
Beer selection is solid and they have a thoroughly descrptive alcohol menu with pricing info. Some of the best fries on the Knoxville sports bar scene, actually, the food in general is probably better than you would expect. Service ranges from good to outstanding.
Great food and beer!. This is my favorite bar to eat and chill at on this side of town. The building is really well-ventilated, so the cigarette smoke is never a problem for a non-smoker like me. They recently updated their menu, and got rid of everything frozen. The Philly cheese steak, and the cheap steak are excellent in particular! The Fieldhouse has a VERY large select of beer as well. In addition, there are pool tables, ping-pong, video games, and they often host live trivia and karaoke.
High Priced. I like the remodel for sure. but it is expensive.
Great food,great atmosphere. The only thing I can say is that the manager/ co owner is a drunk. Came up to me and my table drunk and reeking of liquor. This is highly unprofessional and plan out wrong. I will not be back anytime soon.
Nice location, beer selection, and decent bar food. 3 major problems- zero ambiance, way too smokey, and the clientele is a little on the shadey side
Been here several times I stoped in almost everyday I worked next door at bone fish. I can’t say anything bad about this place its a bar that serves food. I have only had one thing I didn’t like and it was the. Fish and chips. They where over cooked. My service has always been good and eveyone has always been friendly.
