Absolutely my favorite place. I end up going to Bida Saigon at least once a week to get my pho fix. Usually get the 11B with extra tendon, but I know the tendon can be hard to stomach for newbies. If you’re new to pho definitely stick with the rare steak, chicken, or shrimp.
Oh, yeah… When you walk in and the clientele all stops to see who let the Round Eyes in, you have found it. Great authentic cuisine, and snappy service. Four of us had some Pho and Noodle dishes and all were magnificent. Washed down with some cold ones, and reasonably priced.
The noodle bowl had good flavor, but maybe because I came in late it was pretty light on roast pork and some of the other trimmings that make a good noodle bowl. Nice staff, and the chili paste is good and HOT!
Not what I expected. I had #24. It was not bad but lacked the quantity of food ( the bowl was half full) that I’m used to getting for that price. First and last time to eat there .
Awesome pho and smoothies. Bida Saigon has delicious pho, and is the only place I can go to get my durian fix. Seriously, the durian smoothie changed my life.
Three for Pho. Had dinner at Bida Saigon Monday with my wife and a vegetarian friend. Wife and I both had Pho; first time since we’ve lived in Knoxville. It was great: rich broth, fresh quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked noodles. We used to eat Pho regularly several years ago when we lived near DC, where high quality, authentic Vietnamese restaurants are plentiful. Bida’s Pho was as good IMO. Our vegetarian friend also enjoyed his meal but, I was surprised by the limited vegetarian choices; just a few on the menu.
