Always a nice experience here. The bread and dipping oil is delicious. Always seem to get the al forno cheese ravioli even when it’s not on the menu like at dinner. They always accommodate.
The boyfriend and I went on a nice dinner date here and the atmosphere was perfect. I wore a nice dress and heels and did not feel overdressed. The decor was beautiful, the servers looked nice and were very nice and got you whatever you needed. I had the filet mignon and it was cooked to order and it was sooooo good. I will be back!
This place used to be great. Now the prices have gone up and the portions have gone down. I ordered an appetizer, Alfredo alla bolognese, and cocktail. The appetizer took forever, but the main course took an astonishingly long time to come out and was only a couple of bites. I got one cocktail after an absurd wait, but was never asked if I wanted another. My wife told the server that she didn’t want more tea and five minutes later, she brought another out. The servers are just plain stupid and rude. The cooks are ignorant and management obviously doesn’t care. I will never go back. Spent $60 on dinner and left hungry.
Service was great however the food was very disappointing. I ordered the chicken pesto spaghettini. It was bland and tasteless. The bread was good and the warm chocolate cake was decent. Wouldn’t go back.
Anniversary supper. Monday July 14 my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a very early supper at Bravo’s in Bearden. We arrived a few minutes before 5:00, so we wondered how attentive the waitress would be since past experiences in other establishments have taught us that wait staff can act bored and disinterested when they are not busy. We could not have been more delighted. We actually told the young lady that, if we avoided looking out the window, we could pretend we were on a cruise since her attention to our preferences was so generous. Every thing from the bread and seasoned olive oil, to the appetizer, bisque, fish and vegetables was hot and cooked exactly to our liking. We ordered desserts to go, but we were also treated to a yummy ice cream to share since it was our anniversary celebration.We always enjoy Bravo’s, but it is a popular spot so it can be noisy when full. For a more intimate setting, consider going before 5:30 to beat the crowd.
Upon walking in, I was very impressed with the interior decor. The food was the best Italian I ate in years. The wine, someone knows what they’re doing! The service was top of the line. The price surprised me, I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was. Grade, A+++. That’s a first ever from me.
Amazing!!! Fantastic service and speaking as a member of an Italian family, seriously well prepared food. Gluten free options were fantastic. The gluten eaters at the table devoured the bread. Way better than Olive Garden and Macaroni Grill.
