This restaurant has good food good prices at about $10 entre and the seating is nice and not cramped like some places. There are TVs work sports on if you like those.
We left another resteraunt (Twin Peaks) due to poor service… But I still wanted wings… So we ventured to Carolina Ale House, where I had great wings in the past…. Stephen our server was outstanding to say the least. Very personable, friendly, and made sure to address a concern I had about a previous visit. Service has always been great but stephen’s timing and attention to detail really went above and beyond. Just goes to show service and quality of food will beat out a marketing gimmick more often than not… thanks again for providing great service in a casuL environment
Watch for added spice and salt. Not all spicy menu items (e.g., onion strings and everything else with that batter) are so spicy, our group sent back an appetizer and an entree. A grilled chicken sandwich was impossible to eat without a knife and fork, because the chicken had to be cut before it could be eaten. Very loud, our companions could not hear over the TVs, radio and general noise.
We really liked this place for a corporate restaurant. They have an extensive beer list and their burgers are great.. kid meals are decent price as well. worth repeat business.
We’ve been here 6 or 7 times because we live in the neighborhood and it’s convenient. Definitely not because the food is so good. The service is the best thing about the place, honestly. The outside patio is ridiculously noisy – i have no idea why. The inside is quieter and more conducive to conversation. The bar, however, is extremely uncomfortable. All of the bar stools, including the seats around the high tops, are backless, small stools. Definitely not a place I want to sit for any longer than I have to. The best thing I’ve had to eat there were the Carolina wings with honey barbecue sauce and the fries. The hamburgers have been overcooked, the fish tacos runny, salads unremarkable, and the quesadilla boring. That’s all I can recall, even though I know I’ve had a couple other items. My husband enjoyed the chopped steak he ordered. I did complain about the overcooked hamburger one time and the manager offered to bring me another one or take it off our tab. I declined both offers and then he said that dessert was on the house. I’ll give him an A for effort. The restaurant gets a C-. It’s debatable whether or not we’ll return. There are just too many other restaurants in the area to bother.
I don’t understand what all the complaints are about. We went there for lunch and the food was fantastic. I don’t drink but the other individuals in my party were pleased with the beer/mixed drink selection. We will definitely be back!
Food and Service Is Aweful.. We sat for over 7m before being greeted. Wings delivered to table cold. Fried pickles saturated in grease. French fries cold as well. Other than having a cool vibe with pool tables, we won’t be back.
