By far the best soul food I have ever had. I literally eat there everyday. The food reminds me of home. The staff are super friendly and no matter how big the order is, they fill it with a smile on there face. I will definitely recommend. In fact every time I go I bring some one with me. I want to share the experience. LOVE IT!!!!
Even vegetarians liked it!. We had fried green tomatoes and cornbread. It was delicious! We don’t eat meat but the fried chicken looked SO GOOD.
The best food in knoxville.. The best fried chicken in the world. and k.f.c. think’s their is finger licking. not !!!!!!!!!!! brocclic & chesse cassore. cat fish. and most of all mr. chandler & gwen and staff are the nice’st people you could ever met.
Outstanding soul food! It was definitely not what we expected when we arrived! We did not expect great comfort food with such quality. Some favorites we tried: chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, okra, Mac and cheese, & broccoli and cheese. If you’re looking for great soul food in Knoxville…chandlers is THE place to go!
Everything was good but nothing was great. After seeing all of the good reviews and hearing so much about this place, I was really excited to try it! I tried the pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, broccoli and cheese casserole, mashed potatoes and banana pudding… All of my southern favorites! All of it was good, but I left a bit disappointed. Nothing was really outstanding, and I’ve had much better versions of everything I tried. The prices were excellent, though! I’d probably go back if I was in the area and craving southern food, but wouldn’t say it’s worth going out of the way for.
Soul food deluxe. The only thing bad about this place is that there is not a weak spot on the entire menu. Everything is good or great. This is bad for me because, being a normaly decisive individual, I end up always trying the patience of who ever takes my order because all the memories of the good food that I have had over the years here start to flood my mind and I am sploit for choice. The broccoli casserole here is the defintion of comfort food.
Chandler’s. Food sucks I don’t know if people in east Tennessee are just use to bad food or what the Mac n cheese is a joke every thing else is mediocre at best
