I thoroughly enjoyed my food here but the service was not great. I realize they were busy on a Saturday but I do not think that you should have to wait 20 min to place an order.. it took over an hour and a half for our meal from start to finish due to service. As a matter of a fact, we are still waiting.
First the positive, they have some really amazing light and airy tortilla chips served with a tasty jalapeno dip and salsa. The salsa had way too much lime in it, which probably varies from batch to batch if quality control in the kitchen is not good. Unfortunately I ordered the pork tacos or as some restaurants would call them carnitas tacos. Really wasn’t a fan. It needed some sort of sauce, it was just some pork throw into a corn tortilla with hard edges and some cilantro & onions mixed in. Not very much thought put into this dish. Definitely won’t order that again. Everything here seems pretty pricey as well, although the portions are big.Update- went back and got the Stacked Enchiladas. Worst mexican dish I’ve ever had. Have never done this, but I sent it back and left. Look like they had just thrown some canned chicken inside a flour tortilla and its not even an enchilada so the name is confusing. Told a friend I ate here and he said it was aweful too, and turns out he had this dish too! its so terrible it should be removed from the menu because apparently some of the food is good. Lowering review to a 3.0
