What a ripoff. I have been coming to the Diner for many years with my family. The prices have always been a little high for what it is but they try and use better ingredients which in a way, justified the added expense. We also try and help support our local businesses here in Fountain City when we can. Our latest experience at the resteraunt completely changed our view of the place and we wont be back. Fist of all, they raised prices to a point that cannot be justified. They are now charging $11 for an average sized burger (with no seasoning) and two pieces of bacon on top of it. AND NO SIDE. Seriously. No fries. No pickle wedge. Nada. If you want a side, its an additional $2.50. So, a bacon burger and fries is $13.50. Anyone else see the issue here? Its not made from Kobe beef. There is no value at all. My family ordered 4 wedges of French toast for a 4 year old, two burgers with NO SIDES, a vegetable plate and 3 drinks. $40.00. $40. No joke. If you like to pay wayyy too much for a small amount of food, this is your place! Bon appetite!

Delicious!. Ate here several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. BEST onion rings! Awesome desserts! Omelette…so good. Veggies…delish! Love this place. Out of town relatives ALWAYS have to go to FCD. Advice: Don’t share dessert….you’ll be mad at yourself for sharing….be selfish and not cheap, order one for everyone! Yum!
This place is a hidden gem. Everything I’ve had on the menu is awesome. This place does not serve the typical diner-quality food- everything is fresh, made to order, not greasy, and clean. Only thing missing is mimosas/bloodys! Try it out, you will be pleasantly surprised.
Pleasantly surprised! Some of the best onion rings I think I’ve ever had. Food was fresh and very good. Hamburgers were great as well as Salsberry steak and chicken dumplings. Dessert look fantastic obviously homemade but didn’t have room to eat any of them. Service was was very good. Will definitely go back, can’t wait to try breakfast.
