In town for work. Got a spicy tuna, a salmon, and some kind of mango special roll. It wasn’t bad, but it was great. Salmon roll was a little on the small side, but the special roll had some good taste. Not my favorite sushi place ever, but priced well.

I’m reviewing the following dishes Chicken & Shrimp with fried riceGyozaMushroom soupGinger saladTuna Roll with Spicy mayo on topFirst off I would not recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately the only thing they have right is the location. I used to work at an authentic Japanese restaurant so I may be a bit biased. However I’m surprised this place has gotten such good reviews. First off the chicken and shrimp is dull. There were no flavors that really popes out. I’m assuming they attempted to use teriyaki, but it takes like they used a 12 ounce bottle to flavor 20 pounds of chicken… the fried rice is something I’ve never seen before and quite honestly the worst excuse I’ve ever seen or tasted of fried rice. Absolutely flavorless, the only thing notable about it is the strange discoloration and strange stickiness to it. The worst part about it is the entree consisted of 45% wired fried rice 45% cabbage 10%chicken and shrimp. The gyoza is frozen and boiled to serve. Just a hint. You can always tell if they buy frozen if they boil it. No restaurant would ever go through the trouble of making fresh gyoza just to boil it. If you find it pan seared there is a chance it’s good. Mushroom soup… not much to say. It’s chicken broth with a few pieces of mushroom and green onion. Ginger salad… disgusting looking iceberg lettuce with two cups of sauce. Didn’t actually try this. The lettuce seriously was discolored and gross. The sushi! This part made me sad. I was excited to try a roll of theirs that is very hard to mess up yetttttttt they did! The rice wasn’t properly prepared and the tuna was far from quality. This place isn’t worth your time. Certainly not worth my $40 for two people. Go somewhere else if you actually enjoy quality Japanese cuisine.
