Awesome Mexican Food. I have been coming here for years and love the food with never a problem. All the waiters are very friendly and give great fast service. The magaritta’s are very good too, ha. Great place!
This should be YOUR Mexican Place. This is a great little Mexican spot. you get great value for your money here. they have the usual large portion sizes, but the great thing with this place is that it’s not as overpriced as others in Knoxville. Plus, they give you free cheese/bean dip along with your salsa and chips. they have a full bar. And order the Texas Margarita, cause it has some kick. when you walk in there is no real hostess stand, you kinda linger in the entry way until someone leaves and then you are sat. but the staff are always friendly.I have eaten here six different times and ordered something different every time. Have yet to find an item that is bad. I will keep it up till I have had everything on they menu. Then I’ll start all over again, its that good.
Muy delicioso!. I am a huge lover of Mexican food. At one point or another, I have tried the majority of Mexican restaurants in this area (including Maryville and Oak Ridge). I randomly stopped in to la Palma de Oro while in the Clinton hwy area last night, and I’m already planning my next trip there. First off, I was very pleased with the salsa and bean dip that was provided. The salsa was very fresh and had the perfect amount of heat to it. Secondly, the menu offered lots of variety with excellent prices. It was almost impossible to choose. I went with the standard combination dinner of a chicken burrito, beef taco, with rice and beans. My boyfriend ordered the fajita chicken taco salad. We both LOVED what we had (which we have had countless times at other Mexican restaurants) because each dish had incredible flavor. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and it was sooooooo good, as was the fajita chicken in the taco salad. I definitely will be returning to this amazing restaurant. I can’t believe I hadn’t been here sooner!! Highly recommended by a self proclaimed connoisseur of Mexican food!
Passing this place on Clinton hwy on the hunt for some good food, I was intrigued by the storefront; the name made it sound fairly upscale. I wanted to love it so badly, but was disappointed to find fhat igs exceptionally average. Mediocre, even. Service: average, or maybe slightly belowDecor: bland- average.Food: mediocre at best.Overall score: 4/10. The place just seemed to lack the same vision and enthusiasm that I have found elsewhere. Will probably not return.
