This restaurant is our go to place for Mexican. Compared to other similar restaurants in town, this one cannot be beat for portions and quality for the price. The bean and queso dip provided when you were seated is exceptional! The only negative would be the quality of service sometimes, depending on who waits on you. Some servers do not speak English well. Overall, my wife and I feel it cannot be beat!
First of all if you think the atmosphere is great, you probably also like the atmosphere in a school cafeteria, which is exactly how the dining room is setup. The bar stools are too short for the bar which is a cheesy stainless steel material and looks like part of the kitchen. I always order enchiladas Rancharos on my first visit at Mexican restaurants Many places use cheese enchiladas and top them with fried pulled pork. This place stuffs them with the pork, no cheese. Probably healthier for you, but wasn’t a fan. The salsa tasted like lime juice and they did have a nice bean/cheese dip.The server was exceptionally rude. He was so rude and nasty, he’s the first server I’ve not tipped in probably 20+ years. I’m not even going to waste my time telling the multiple times he managed to be DB during service.If you think the food here is amazing, you’ve likely never left the state.Also, the credit card terminal is slow as molasses causing huge lines to pay. This is a clear indication of poor management. Get a new card terminal machine.
