Great food and service. I love it. I go there a lot, at least once a week. I’ve never had any problems with my food or the price. I recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican food.
Horrible. Just eat the chips and get a drink.
Food okay- they will rip you off. This place consistently tries to over charge you. Watch your total closely. The food here is hit or miss.
Food at Monterrey Mexican restaurant was good. My complaint is the following. When the bill came, it is on a slip with a total of $19.06. There is no itemizing of how $19.06 is arrived at. Menu prices add up to. $15.65 so ajusting for sales tax about a $2.00 over charge. When I question the cashier about the amount he said we had ordered the number eight dinner not number eight lunch, however that is not the case. Even it we had ordered the dinner the price would not have totaled up to the $19.06 bill presented to us. While the food is good, make sure you itemized your bill would be my point. I believe the overcharge was deliberate. Maybe because I had a coupon out of Knox County School Coupon Book. CHECK YOUR BILL OVER CAREFULLY!!!
The food was ok, however the temperature in the restaurant was almost 80 degrees, the service was so-so and the bill for 3 children and 2 adults was $55. A total waste!!
Slow service. Did not accept my 21 year old id even after I showed them 3 more forms of id. Lost my business forever. Go somewhere else.
Friendly, fast, great food!! Monterrey is preferred over Cancun Mexican restaurant. Good location, just off I75 on Merchants/Cedar lane.
