Like any other place you eat, you tell them how you like your sandwich made. They will comply!. I love Nixons & I don’t love sandwiches steamed too much, so I order it lightly steamed & it comes out perfect! They are good people and try to please, but we know that you can’t please everybody don’t we?? It has been my philosophy to leave room in my opinions for the fact that I am a pretty picky eater, so I don’t trash a business in a review just because I don’t like it.

…ack….. Nixon’s…had one in 1985 and had the same reaction…soggy, gooie bread…what a waste of bread!!Never been back…and I know why..they haven’t changed a thing since the last encounter. …I take that back…had to go with a few friends back in 1990…and told them not to put my sandwich in the steamer. Now I know why….old dry day old bread. They have a method to the madness!! If they bought GOOD bread…this wouldn’t be an issue. whstonemandining.blogspot.com
