I love the people who own this place because you can tell they are passionate about what they do. The bread is amazing! I had the Pimento cheese sandwich on the dark bread and it was very fresh. I also had the chili and it was homemade too. I would recommend this place. It does not have the variety of the soup kitchen is the only downfall.

Didn’t last long.. Several years ago there was a retail store in Fountain City. Went one time and bought a loaf of bread. Requested it to be sliced, but they didn’t have a bread slice. A bakery without a bread slicer? I didn’t go back. It lasted maybe six months.
Awesome!. Just picked up a loaf at Kroger on a whim. Glad I did! It is so much better than the regular stuff. Don’t see me buying any other any time soon.
Dietitian/Nutritionist. This is by far, the best whole grain bread I have had in a very long time! I once was the part owner of a natural food store in Vermont and we had access to wonderful home made bread. Since I left Vermont it has been a struggle to find simple, delicious, whole grain bread made with expertise and love. I recently moved to Oak Ridge and found this bread in Kroger. It is the best! My favorites are the Whole Wheat and The Sunflower Seed. You must try it. Note: I do not know the producers (even though I would like to 🙂 and I was not paid to say this. Just hoping they will never go out of business.
