Not Impressed. Food was not-so-great. Rice was under-cooked and bland. Drinks tasted like dish water and tax was added to the already-expensive drinks. Not satisfied with experience and won’t go back.
My fav mexican restaurant!!!! Love the salsa, chicken fajita nachos are awesome!!! great food and staff, been going for 6 years
Authentic, but too heavy on the salt. Pancho’s was our favorite Mexican restaurant since we moved here in 2007. We loved the chimichanga. However, for just over a year we have found the food too heavily salted.Yesterday I had the chili colorado. I ate the beans and the rice. The sauce on the meat was just too salty to eat and the beef was dry. I feel bad writing this, but if it causes the cook to use less salt, it would be worth it.
Super great authentic food. Try their desserts. You won’t be disappointed. Great lunch spot.
Surprisingly Superb!. We just returned from dining at Panchos for the first time and we will -definitely- go back! The food was great: my husband had the grouper with the house tomato sauce, I had the shrimp enchiladas. Both were fresh, hot, and fantastic. We had their fresh guacamole and queso which were also delicious. The service was even better than the food. We were offered more chips about 3 times (but turned them down so we wouldn’t get too full), we were checked on regularly, offered drinks to go, and never waited long for anything. Super kid-friendly, too. Our toddler was with us and he had fun, too.
Tacos al pastor. The Tacos al pastor at Pancho’s are superb. Grilled pork and onions topped with fresh cut cilantro. You have the option of corn or flour tortillas–corn is best! Comes with a fiery salsa dipping sauce.
The BEST flan in Knoxville!
