Best in Knoxville. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years now and only found out about Sam’s through a random stop in one day last fall. I have friend who have lived their entire lives in Knoxville and don’t know about this place. It makes no sense to me as this is my favorite place to go. This is a familiar place to me. When I first walked in the door, I knew immediately what everything on the menu tasted like. It’s complete and total comfort food and at an insanely low price. It’s a southern, greasy meat-n-two basically. It’s a better version of Rankin. Standard specials everyday of the week. Breakfast all day. It’s the opposite of Posh. It’s not a date place. It’s just simply great food at a great price.
