Scrumps is simply amazing!!! We have always had the best from them! So friendly and the girls in the shop are always willing to go above and beyond for your event or simply just a basic cupcake pickup.. they offer to wrap the box, put a card with it anything just to make it a little more special.. we just had them cater our step daughters 5th birthday party and omg was it over the top!! So perfect and the taste was even better!! Check them out for your selves I promise you won’t be disappointed
Do not trust this business with your wedding day. When we went to the tasting, everything was delicious and the staff was nice. We ordered a bride’s cake, 100 mini groom’s cupcakes and 30 gluten free cupcakes. I paid an additional fee to have them delivered to the venue in Townsend. On the wedding day, however, they were very unprofessional and rude. They showed up hours too early (9:30 am) to deliver the cake at our outdoor wedding that was at 4 pm. The cake was covered with condensation and eventually began to lean. When I questioned the delivery guy, he said it would be fine, that it wasn’t hot outside and he had other deliveries to make. He was gone before I even had a chance to open the other boxes. Upon doing so, I realized that he had not delivered the groom’s cupcakes, only the GF ones. I immediately called the shop and explained the situation. The owner was extremely rude and tried her best to blame me for the situation. When she realized that I would have none of that, she then shifted blame to her employee. She claimed that I had not paid for the cupcakes and that her employee made a mistake. I told her that I would gladly pay for them if I had not but my understanding was that I had paid in full upon my last visit. She even told me that she thought it was weird that I only wanted 3 jumbo cupcakes for the top of the cupcake stand and had questioned her employee. (She had extensive notes for our order from our initial visit.) Why didn’t she call me?? When I paid I had verified with the employee that I wanted 100 mini cupcakes and added 3 jumbo for the top of the cupcake stand. April acted as if it were not her responsibility at all. She spoke to very hatefully to me. She refused to deliver the missing cupcakes. She told me I could come pick them up if I wanted them. There was no way I could and everyone I knew was there helping me in prepping for the wedding and we could not afford the time traveling, just not possible. Plus it was their error. I told her I would go somewhere else. Thank goodness Miss Lilly’s Bakery in Townsend saved us and baked for us fresh, 100 delicious cupcakes & delivered them with a smile! Also, the gluten free cupcakes that Scrumps did deliver were inedible! We were so embarrassed because we had bragged to our GF friends about how good they would be. It is not worth the chance. Find another company who values their customers and is professional in their dealings.

Have always gotten good quality cake and frosting. Plus the bake them and save me all those troublesome step just leaving me to enjoy sweet temptation.
Dissapointed. I mean how do you not like a cupcake place, but I have to sadly report that I was severely dissapointed in the order I placed for my daughters baptism celebration. I ordered 4 flavors (1 dozen each) of mini cupcakes. I really wish I would have taken a picture, but in about half the cupcakes the cake was about half the size it should have been and the frosting was twice the norm (like they were trying to make up for the lack of cake.) The cupcakes were supposed to be delivered between 11/11:15 am and yet they didn’t arrive till noon. When I called at 11:15 they said they were on their way, and yet when we called back at 11:45 they said there had been a problem in the bakery that morning and that the owner was just leaving with them. He offered no apology or offer of a discount (we had already paid) The order totaled $76 because we paid $14 for a rickety disposable cupcake stand (my bad.) I really just don’t feel good about it. I’ve had Scrumps mini cupcakes before and they were very good, but this experience has turned my stomach.
Scrumptious and Cute. We’ve tried almost every type of cupcake they make! They’re friendly, the shop is cute, the cupcakes are AMAZING, and they’re easy to follow on social media. They’ve had some fun contests, too.
Best cupcakes in town! Hands down! Cake is as good as frosting which is hard to find. Owner is very nice and remembers you 🙂 Great place to stop in after going to the park across the street.
Best Cupcakes in Knoxville!. …and believe me I have tried them all! Scrumps is dangerously close to my home. It’s hard not to indulge more often. The cake is moist and the ratio of icing to cake is perfect. They have great flavors, my favorite being the Scarlet O’Hara (red velvet). Yum!
