Bring your big wallet, no parking to speak of. Good service but for the prices it should be. Called and ask about the prices and was told that maybe I should of checked there reviews before eating there and was told that we where in Bearden. (I knew where we where at, I was born here so that sounded kind of snotty)Happy hour without any alcohol. 1/2 lb. of steamed shrimp, I dozen of raw oysters and some kind of cold Mexican style bowl of vegetables that we didn’t eat because either me or my wife liked it andwith one water and one Pepsi was close to &45.00 before tip which we left $8.00 for the waiter. Wish I would have gone to Red Lobster. At least we would ofall left full.

Christmas Party. NEVER book a Christmas party here!!! You go up these dark steps, outside the main restaurant. It was hot, cold, they never could get it right.. And the restroom is also the chemical room., Short staffed, and a handful of other excuses. How does a seafood restaurant run out of Grouper??? Had my heart set on it. They also ran out of Miller Liite. Who is the planning manager. The food was good, but despite an extra effort from a great waitress, Everything was LATE…4 ..words—Poor Management, bad planning

Best Oyster/seafood bar and grill in knoxville. Enjoyed every second of it! Great service and great oyster and draft beer selections!

New Favorite in Town. Visited Shuck last night with my wife and our two grown children for my wife’s birthday. The food was terrific (I had a Monkfish Special, my wife and oldest had The Tower and my youngest had a burger). The oyster selection was very extensive and had different varietals all with different tastes and prices. Service was wonderful and the manager even delivered a free key lime pie for my wifes birthday! We don’t go out much, but this will definitely always be a consideration!

Steamed Shrimp are excellent. $25.99 a pound but worth it. Crab legs were puny. Also $25.00 a pound. Go to Hooters for better Crab legs at almost half the price. Service was poor. Ran out of tea and had to wait for refill when there was a total of 5 people eating including myself. Manager just sat at bar detached from everything. Not a terrible visit, but lacking a WOW factor that would probably keep me from returning. More of a trendy spot to been seen than a place to enjoy fine food.

Took forever and bad customer service. We eat out quite a bit here in Knoxville and tonight decided to try Shucks. We got to the restaurant at around 7:30 and found out there was going to be a 30 minute wait. No problem – we found a spot at the bar to watch the FL game. Generally, the bar is the place to be in places like Bonefish and Carrabas but tonight what a mistake. The two people behind the bar couldn’t keep up, provided little to no customer service and were very inattentive. We ordered a dozen steamed clams – took forever. We ordered a lobster roll and po boy with grouper – took over an hour. What made it worse, one of the bartender’s friends came in about a half hour after us. They got their food – appetizer and main course – before we got ours. We ended up having to ask where our food was only to hear – we are next in the kitchen. Ridiculous. The young lady offered us dessert – small concession on a 88 dollar bill. By the way, my wife’s lobster roll (19 dollars) was a soggy hotdog bun with lobster in it. Very unappealing and extremely over priced. Maybe this was just a bad night – I get that – but they could have made up for everything with some level of customer service. Very dissapointed.
