Sports bar atmosphere, good food. Very busy at 5:30pm on a Wednesday evening, which was surprising. Families, couples and business associates were all there. I had the Goal Burritos (1 chicken, 1 beef) which were delicious! My wife had the Full Nachos and she said they were great. Serving staff was very attentive.

Soccer Taco food can be very good. My rating is low because the food is not consistent over multiple visits, e.g., everything is different (taste) from the entree all the way to the salsa. When they are on their game, the salsa is great.Probably the best thing on the menu is the Grand Slam Chicken Burrito–the beer simmered chicken is awesome. And, when the salsa is done right, blended smooth with the garlic and cilantro kicking it up, it is probably one of the best I’ve eaten.I’ve eaten here since 2006 and still do so today. I always hope they are always on their game when I sit down. The place is small, parking stinks, and depending on the crowd, it can be loud.

Enchiladas Cowboy Rocks. Try the Enchiladas Cowboy and thank me later! Cheese enchiladas covered in shredded pork. So good my stomach is growling writing this review! The restaurant is sort of small but has a large patio which helps during warmer months. There is parking around the back of the building and you’ll likely find your parking there unless you are very lucky!14 Sep, 2013Cowboy enchiladas are great. If you love cheese enchiladas try these topped with mountain of pork. Great outside patio. Park in the rear and walk up the back deck stairs.

Not impressed, will not be back. The food was ok, nothing special in my opinion. Way to many onions! We have eaten here 3 times and twice afterwards our bank accounts got hacked! Not saying it was them but it is quite the coincidence.

Needs Better Service. My husband and I tried Soccer Taco in Bearden after seeing it in Metro Pulse. The food was okay…not deserving of Best Mexican in my opinion. I’ve had better at other places, El Rey in Powell for example. We went on a Sunday morning at 11:00. I am pretty sure the tortilla chips were from the night before. They were stale. The service was terrible. Our waitress was more interested in her cell phone than her one table…us. We had to ask for refills. This is not a restaurant I would return to.

Carrot Fajitas? No thanks.. From the Soccer Taco menu-Vikings- Vegetable fajita with onions, mushrooms, bell peppers and tomatoes. served with rice, pico de gallo, beans, guacamole and sour cream.I went to Soccer Taco for lunch today. I felt like the vegetarian fajitas would be pretty straight forward and difficult to mess up(unlike several other things I have had there). Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was brought a big fajita pan of onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, tiny pieces of mushrooms, and FROZEN MIXED VEGGIES. I like cauliflower, carrots and broccoli as much as the next lady but NOT ON MY FAJITAS! It took forever to get my food, despite the restaurant being practically empty, then no one bothered to check back with me to see if everything was ok until I was ready to go. If the owners of the restaurant bother to read this site- Please stick with what it says in the menu. And if you are going to add things in, please make sure these ingredients are fresh and not obviously from a bag you keep in the freezer. All in all, I think the only menu item worth getting at this place is the tortilla soup. I’ve sampled a good amount of the menu and that is the only thing that has been consistently good. I won’t bother trying to find anything else there again. Yuck.
