I drove across town for the taco soup and Mexican cornbread. It’s amazing and the portions are great for the price. I used to work close to this place and I miss not being closer to it for lunch. The menu changes daily but I’m sure there’s a pattern to it.
Will need a big location. Had lunch here this week. I was happy tha tI arrived around 11:45 am as the place filled up very quickly. I had a bowl of the Seafood soup , olive bread and tea and total was less and $9.00. The soup was very good and so was the bread. I liked that you could get two cups for the same price as a bowl and try the selection. The combos came with a cup of soup and a half sandwich for around $6. Not bad.The biggest draw back to the place was the seating. In the busy time people are walking by you and standing beside your table waiting to order which was uncomfortable. I actually saw at least three couple leave when they walked in as saw the line. Teh food in itself was good but if I went there again would consider getting the order to go.
Soups are average at best- cornbread is very good though- tortilla soup was loaded with soggy tortillas- nasty- i also didn’t enjoy eating soup with a teaspoon sized plastic spoon
Big price, and you’ll leave hungry. What do you get for $11? A drink, bowl of thin soup, an half a sandwich…and about 10 chips. At 11:39 on a Friday to noon, the place was empty. Earth to owners…either get bigger portions or cut your price in half.
The serrvice was kinda bad… The food is good and cheap but there was a woman that worked in there that was rude and was trying to rush me, other than that it was good, maybe try a different location.
