One of our favorite places to eat. Staff is always great, good prices, newly remodeled too. I would recommend to friends and family.
It’s Friday night. Called this place at 9:25 to see what time they close. The guy says 10:00. So we drive from Farragut to there in 10 minutes. At 9:35 as we are walking to the door, the guy locks the door and turns off the sign. I knock on the door and tell him we just called and he told us he would be open until 10:00. He says he hasn’t had a customer in an hour so he was closing. Turned us away. He could have told us he was closing early so we wouldn’t have wasted a trip over there. Very rude. Will not go back. They probably won’t last long anyway from the looks of how he runs the place.
The food there is pretty tasty. It isn’t as expensive as hibachi generally is. I love the sushi they make. It’s affordable and leaves you wanting more. The waitress who is always there is very nice and the chef who is generally there always greets us with a smile. Go for light entree with sushi to accompany it 🙂 I highly recommend this place for a cozy dinner date that won’t put a damper on your wallet. jesswhatsonthemenu.wordpress.com
Yum. The atmosphere is somewhat odd since little effort is apparent in the decor. The sushi is wonderful and the service was very quick and efficient. It’s a little out of the way, but worth the trip once you eat. One of the rolls with coconut milk is fantastic!!!
AWFUL. This was absolutely the nastiest Hibachi food I have ever eaten. I really like Misaki, but the prices there are a little high, so I wanted to try this place. Could not even eat any of it. Had to throw it all out. Sending my husband to Misaki now. DO NOT EAT THERE. I got the shrimp and chicken. The chicken tastes slimy and rubbery. The shrimp sauce also tastes like it is just thousand island dressing.
Awful. Chicken was chewy and slimy, dark meat at it’s absolute worst. Three pieces stuck together with one giant piece of fat. Worst Japanese food I’ve ever had.
