Probably the best miso soup in the Knoxville region. The nigiri is top 5 in the area as well. They have an impressively diverse menu and I have only had pleasant and sincere service at Anaba.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have not had bad food. The full house salad is huge (enough to split three ways), very fresh fish in the rolls, and the cooked entrees are excellent.
I’ve been here twice and I want to love this place but I’m just not satisfied. The service is great and so is the atmosphere but the sushi rolls just don’t do it for me. They are tiny and hardly any fish for the price your paying. I haven’t tried anything else besides the sushi so I may go again just to try again.
