I dont recommend eating here. Unfortunately the staff is rude and condescending to their customers. I went there today and waited for my food for over an hour. I never received an apology.
I love coming here! Angie (the cook, owner, etc) is always so welcoming and great. She knows my order by heart and my food never fails to be awesome. The staff always ask me about school (I’m a student at UT) and keep my drink refilled. There are daily specials that are also posted on their Facebook page that range with a variety of desserts. But the only dessert for me is their specialty of a grilled honeybun. If you aren’t accustomed to the typical laid back Southern experience I’m not sure this is the place for you but everyone else should pay this place a visit.
