8/23/2017 – Stopped by for lunch today – I was interested in trying a highly ranked Mexican restaurant. The steak burrito caught my eye. While waiting, chips and salsa was served – my first bite, I thought the taste was familiar and it wasn’t until I received my burrito that I determined what it was I tasted. The temperature of the red sauce on the burrito brought it out – either it was a can tomato sauce (sweet) or spaghetti sauce with a little heat. Come on, really? Tea was good, burrito was fair, but salsa was horrible. Change it and I may be back.
You know…for Mexican food in Maryville it wasn’t too bad. I’m not saying it was amazing but if you’re in Maryville and want decent Mexican food without driving into Knoxville then this place will work. Compared to the other Mexican food options in Maryville this place is the best option. So take that for what it’s worth.
