This place use to be good. I’m really disappointed just ate some lunch. We didn’t even finish it. Drive to Lemongrass instead. The ambiance was sad. No music and an owner or employees kid running around the whole time. Save your money!

Great Stir-Fry. Every Oriental Restaurant has a base of dishes they serve to a varying degree of success. This restaurant does Stir-Fry exceptionally well. Good stir-fry is relatively hard to find and they make pretty much the best in the area. They won’t have the best sweet and sour chicken or general tso’s chicken you’ve ever had, those aren’t really traditional dishes and they aren’t really chef skill based dishes. Those are smother chicken in sweet and spicy sauce and serve dishes. Stir-Fry with fresh items is pretty difficult to do well let alone great and these guys do it great. Give it a try I recommend spicy chicken stir fry or sizchuan anything.
Rather bad experience for lunch today. The egg roll looked like it was fried two times yesterday and the General Chows chicken was the same. Don’t think I will be going back. I think I said that last time I ate there as well. It says something when there are 5 people (staff included) in a restaurant at 12:15.
Horrible service! Food was not good, looked like it was thrown on plates. Our waitress was extremely rude, drinks were not refilled, she brought out my plate of food and left my husband sitting without his for 10 minutes. Never got an apology just her being rude.
Most anywhere is going to be yummier, friendlier, and cleaner than here! My experience included none of those at Oriental Cuisine. Sub-par food, staff that seems annoyed that we were bothering them by being there, and a visibly dirty atmosphere (debris on floors, uncleared tables). I cannot fathom what the 3.9 rating is all about, except that maybe the TN standards for Chinese are lower than most. Empire Garden and Sunrise China have better food and are much cleaner restaurants.
