We’ve recently discovered this little gem tucked away on a back road behind the 411 Walmart, and we’re loving it! Their breakfasts are better than anything you’d get at Cracker Barrel or fast food. Big, tasty biscuits; great eggs/omelets; yummy bacon cooked how you like it; acceptable sausage gravy; excellent pancakes. Their breakfast biscuit sandwiches are awesome (stuff like bacon/egg/cheese and chicken tender/egg/cheese–which is delicious). Lunch is great, too, with homemade fries, juicy burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches the size of Mount LeConte, and (for those wanting lighter fare) nice size salads. The staff could not be more friendly, helpful, and pleasant. T.C.’s Grill is definitely on our list of local faves.
I liked it and my wife hated it. I was in the mood for a huge burger and shake and she simply wasn’t. I thought it was good, nothing out of the ordinary but good none the less. It was a great place to pig out, which is what I did. But if you’re looking for something with smaller portions and healthier options then this isn’t the place for you.
Started out good.. But the last several times I’ve been, the food was not cooked properly and had poor taste. They really need better cooks
Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger. Burger was delicious and the fries were great. Recommend this to everyone.
Overpriced warmed over food. At one time T.C.’s Grill offered a good hamburger and french fries. That has not been the case the last two times I have had the misfortune of going there. The french fries must be cooked at some point during the day and then they keep them warm. They are tasteless grease soaked taters. The hamburgers have very little flavor. The price keeps going up and the quality keeps going down. One of the people in my party ordered a salad. It was $9.00 for some iceberg lettuce with chunks of ham. It had zero appeal. It’s a real shame what has happened to this restaurant since it first opened. We always try to support local non-chain restaurants but we will not be returning to T.C. Grill until we hear from others that they have returned to providing food that is flavorful, fresh and hot.
Shake Tiller. Best hamburger I have had in a long time. Traveling through from Spirit Lake, Idaho.
Director of IT. Thursday Dec 12. Had biscuits and gravy. Wife had French Toast. Side of sausage and bacon. Had to send it back as it was cold. Waitress spent most of her time in the kitchen. Had to wait for her to bring coffee . Total bill was over $15. Cashier was new and had not been trained. Took forever to check out. Better food and service at IHOP. Had been here before a few times. seems like TC’s is going down hill. Not going back.
