A Hidden Gem. This is definitely an exceptional establishment. Their hot wings are some of the best I’ve ever had… Very addicting. You would never think a gem like this was in Hickory Hood.
WOW. I’ve lived in Memphis for 35 years, why haven’t I found this gem before? On the recommendation of a friend we tried CFU today. The hot and sour soup is the best we’ve ever had, anywhere! We had the House a Fried Rice and House Egg foo yung and both were excellent. This is our new favorite Chinese restaurant, even if it’s far from our home.
C Fu Chinese. We’ve been going to this restaurant for years even before it was C Fu. It had turned into a mostly to go restaurant before C Fu took over. The chef before moved to New York City. Even though his food was good, it is even better now. It has consistently been good since they took over. I go into nicer neighborhoods in Memphis and other cities and find most of the time C Fu food is better. We were gone from home on three trips during the summer but the owner saved my sun glasses I had left and remembered they were mine. Most people would have thrown them away. I was grateful because it was my favorite pair. If you want something special, ask for the chef.
