We heard a lot of mixed reviews but we wanted to try somewhere new for our anniversary. The interior is nice with a well decorated courtyard. However, I didn’t like how close we were to other tables. Like, butt in someone’s face when you’re getting out of your seat or when a server is assisting another table close. I’m not sure if the back is the same way. Our server was nice but there were several different people that came to the table, it was easy to forget who she was if it wasn’t for the uniform. The waitress took our order, a separate person came with bread, another person came for drinks even though we told the server what we wanted, someone else came with food and another person, I guess the manager, came to ask how was everything and the hostess came by later. We didn’t ask for anything unnecessarily specific or complaining so I’m guessing that’s just routine.The food didn’t take too too long but presentation was very nice. I had a manly steak lol and he had the duck. My steak looked nice and the parsnips were a nice touch but there was a lot of fat in the meat. He liked the veggies that accompanied the duck more than the meat itself. Both dishes had nice presentation. Our sweet potato casserole order didn’t get put in with the entrees so it came later as a dessert. It was ok but I think nuts would’ve done more for this dish. Overall, this visit was…ok. The food was alright but the seating is tight and there was a lot of table traffic, especially for a small seating area.
