We went back since we had another Groupon. It was better this time. I still wish they would keep their food warmer in the steam tables. All in all it’s typical Chinese buffet fare.26 Jul, 2013First, the sushi wasn’t bad but it was the best thing there. Everything was cold and dry. The soup didn’t have much flavor. We didn’t have anything from the grill but since I bought 2 Groupons I will try that next and post of my opinion if it has changed.
When I walked in, I felt like Nixon visiting Chairman Mao in 1970. This restaurant is truly East meets West. The buffet include everything from macaroni and cheese to the delightful orange chicken. Overall the food was a great value. In terms of the ambiance, Hibachi grill is located in a former Ryan’s Steakhouse that was a motel before that. The inside is very post-modern, and had they served PBR I would have sipped one and taken in the irony. Well done Hibachi!
Simply a gem. I enjoyed this place so much that when my wife came up from Atlanta, I took her here for lunch. It is the mongolian grill that truly makes this place!!! But the buffet is well stock and kept hot and clean.
Food wasn’t fresh , and the Hibachi was horrible , the rice was stuck together.
Buffet, sushi?. Tonight my family went on our second trip to Hibachi Grill and we loved it!! Where else can you go and make up your own roll and they are really happy with a two dollar tip? The rolls that were pre-made were pretty good as well. I really do not understand why they have such a low rating. The service leaves someting to be desired, but, I was glad to see they will be serving beer soon. Hopefully, they know that always ups the tips and will dial it up a notch. Also, we were not the only ones unhappy with our service. The two tables around us also complained. We did not do so to the manager so, guess it was our fault as well.
Greatest hibachi and buffet in town!!! Great sushi too!
