We really enjoyed everything. The food and the service were excellent. Try the avocado fries and the fish of the day, both were extremely good. Homemade apple spice ice cream finished us off. We will be back.
Arrived Friday night with group of 9 adults. Seated immediately, took 45 min before server took order and 2 hours before receiving food. Out of steak, had to order something else. Not worth going!
This was the second time we have eaten brunch at Maximo’s. Both times the food was cold. The food is good but would be better if the butter would met in the grits and biscuits. The eggs were cold too. The $5 Bloody Mary’s were a plus. The service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back as it is in the hood. Hope the temp thing can be fixed.
